Excellent service, excellent halibut.
Nice little hipster Cafe, great for tourist and locals alike
Delicious seafood. Had the fisherman's platter and enjoyed it. The mussles were pretty tasty too - served with hot butter
Scallops wrapped in bacon was yummy. Husband had caplin and loved it. Very busy as it is best place on Woody Pt to eat dinner
The chicken soup was the bestAnd so was the crab sandwitchVery gòod view of the lake amd mounts
Nice place good food
Moose pie and some of the best fries I've every eaten (and I've eaten a few!). Their deck overlooks the sea with Gros More's silhouette in one direction and the Tablelands in the other. Well stocked gift shop and charming, efficient servers.
Had lunch and dinner here. The food was to die for. Contender for the best meal in Newfoundland that we had in the past 9 days. Definitely the quickest service! Also the location and ambience is very hard to beat.
Enjoyed the food here, it was actually a bit of a surprise as we were expecting typical bar food. The Cesar salad was especially good. Staff was very friendly and service was good. Prices were decent as well. Not a lot of vegetarian options, but if you like fish you'll be happy.
Good food quality price and nice cosy place for people that lile rustic style
Food was so fresh. Delicous and staff was amazing.
Food was great view was awesome. The waitresses could have been a little more pleasant but maybe it was an off day. I would go back
This is probably the best place to eat in Woody's Point. Great food, very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend
moose pie and excellent friendly service made for enjoyable lunch
Great menu in a converted warehouse. We really enjoyed our food, service and overall dining experience.
We ordered fisherman’s platter and it was delicious. Pan fried cod melted in my mouth and shrimp was cooked with onion. So good! Scallops were also cooked to perfection. It was one of my favourite meals ever.
Best food we have had since coming to Newfoundland
Food was good. Service was fast
Love this little place. Have been coming to Newfoundland for 5 years now and always make this one of my stops. Everything on the menu is delicious, but the fries dressing and gravy are some of the best I have had on the island. Be prepared for a wait though if you come right at lunch or dinner times as this place caters to bus and boat tours. It is most definitely worth the wait though!
When we asked, we were told that we must try "Cod Cheeks"... We would now say the same to any that ask. Amazing charm, staff and food - Thank you!
Nice little spot. Quick friendly service.Great fish chowder. Fish cakes and fish burger great too. Local beers served.
I'll keep it simple. I had the best piece of fish I ever had here.
This place was really amazing. We were a group of six and we all loved every bite. I had the striploin and it was perfectly done. Be sure to save room for dessert! The desserts were just as delicious as the main course.
great food. surf and turf was perfect. the barrel chairs hugged my kidneys and lumbar like a firm lover
We came here for dinner after a long day of hiking. The food was absolutely delicious. The servings were large enough to fill us up after such an active day, and everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is located on the second floor above a gift shop and had a very cozy and inviting atmosphere.
Three people and we had two seafood platters and the veggie stir fry.Everyone agreed the food was amazing, maybe the best fish I've ever had in Newfoundland! The view is unbeatable on the terrace, and inside is cute and cozy.Definitely where you should be having lunch/dinner if you're in the area!
Great location . Such a cool neat unique place
Delicious lunch on the sunny windy deck. Our group had the warm kale salad, hamburgers, gluten free seafood lasagne, moose pie and giant onion rings. All were great and so was our server, Donna. The warm kale salad had yummy sauteed broccoli and potatoes, plus almonds and cranberries.
The toutons were phenomenal, the view was amazing, and the service was quick even though a tour bus had just come through as we got there. Honey garlic wings were amazing as well. However I did not enjoy the Mac and Cheese or the the onion rings. The onion rings were 90% deep fried batter and 10% ring.
Service is excellent and the moose pie is a must have.
Very friendly and welcoming place to eat in Woody Point Newfoundland. Delicious cod fish fresh from the fishers in the area. Great pies and brownies. Delish. Many many years of great food and service. Favourite restaurant on the West coast of the Island.
Go there every summer and the food is always great. Loved the fish cakes with partridge berry jam.
This was some of the best food we had in Canada after a month-long trip across the country. The seafood was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the upstairs dining room was adorable. The service was lacking and slow, though, as the servers seemed overwhelmed and lacking in customer service skills. I'd still go back, but I'd be ready for slow service.
Try the pan fried cod, great view on deck, great home made cookies
Excellent food. Friendly staff.
Great, sympatic and fast service
Love the icecream there!!! Dropped by there everytime for icecream! The fish and mussles were great. The service was below average. The ladies were hectic all the time and didn't pay enough attention to us - water was not filled and we flagged them several times and no one saw. We had to head up to the waitress for the bill. When she knew that we wanted the bill, she came up and clean up the dishes before handing the bill to us. Somehow, she thought cleaning up the dishes (making us wait) is more important than handing the bill to us. Good food but below average service.
beautiful place with awesome food! super nice people here!
Food was good, service was good, atmosphere was great!!
The crab sandwich was delicious. Beautiful views
This was the best restaurant we visited while on the west coast! Highly recommended their seafood and desserts. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff!
Solid food and nice service. Plus I love the vibe of sitting in the actual old loft!
Great food and great staff
It was an excellent experience, food and service were great.
After waiting at the “Please wait to be seated sign” for at least 5 minutes we were invited inside, laughed at, and told that if we should have come in if we wanted to have been seated. The waitress who was rude on our way in seemed like serving us was a burden; rather than asking how we were, what we’d like to eat, etc. she just stared at us wordlessly until I asked for a Caesar salad. My salad was acceptable but my friend’s seafood lasagna was covered in one large chunk of seemingly-microwaved cheese and was unbearably salty. He wasn’t even able to finish it.
Mediocre service at best. Maybe my expectations are too high. Didnt get checked on at all. Food was decent though.
Great service, great meal. Ate out on the deck and enjoyed the view. Steak and seafood cooked to perfection. Friendly staff. Not our first visit and it won't be our last.
Great food! Especially their cod, seafood lasagne, and cod chowder!
one of the best meals ive had in a while. we will definitely be back
